Summer's on the way!  This year, we've rolled our Annual Meeting right into our Annual Summer Picnic, bringing you two great Just Harvest traditions in one!

We will celebrate from 3:00 to 6:00 at the Veterans' Shelter (located on Overlook Drive) at Schenley Park in Oakland (this is on the 58 bus route).   You'll hear a state-of-the-organization address from board president Sr. Barbara Finch and learn some more about what we've been doing in the fight against hunger and poverty in our region over the past year.  And after our brief general meeting, and board election there will be games, potluck food, music and entertainment for all ages!

This is our time to look back on our accomplishments over the past year, and to look forward to what we can all do to further our cause. We hope that you can join us for this very special event - and please spread the word; we welcome guests with open arms!

Follow this link to our Facebook event page (where an RSVP, though not required, is appreciated!)

Pittsburgh's got talent!  And Just Harvest is fortunate that lots of local musicians over the years have lent those talents to support the cause of ending hunger and poverty in our communities.

Four exciting, up-and-coming local bands will bring it to the stage on Friday, June 8, at Hambone's Pub (4207 Butler Street, in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood) for End Hunger: A Benefit Show for Just Harvest.

Just Harvest is working to reconnect with our current and past members, clients, volunteers, and any other interested person.  Please take a few minutes of your day and fill out this survey.  The results will be used to further engage an active and supportive membership base.  Many thanks to Public Allies of Pittsburgh, our partners in this effort!
