Free tax help is available for low-income working people! Don’t spend all of your refund on tax preparation fees and quick money loans! Just Harvest provides free tax assistance at our office on the South Side for low-income workers with simple tax returns. Assistance is available Monday – Saturday from late January through April 15th each year. You can make an appointment after January 10th by calling 412-431-8964. No walk-ins will be accepted. This service is part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program of the IRS.To locate other VITA sites in Allegheny County, contact the United Way HelpLine at 412-255-1155.
