Starting today until the end of 2014, the local health and wellness network Organically Social will be donating a portion of its proceeds to Just Harvest! That means if you become an Organically Social member before January, your work-out and wellness efforts will also benefit the fight against hunger and poverty.
The restaurant chain Chili’s is proud to support Just Harvest for one of it’s Give Back events on August 19. A portion of your meal – the cost, not the food itself 🙂 – will support our work.

Tuesday, May 6, from 6:00 am to midnight is the annual Pittsburgh Foundation Day of Giving – the perfect opportunity to have your gift to Just Harvest partially matched.
Hundreds of people braved the snowstorm and made it out to the 19th Annual Empty Bowls at Rodef Shalom this past Sunday, March 2. Since its beginning, this yearly family-friendly benefit has helped Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest raise over half a million dollars to fight hunger in our region.
The 19th annual Empty Bowls – a community meal to fight hunger in the region – will be this March. Every year, attendees get to take home a beautiful ceramic bowl. This wouldn’t be possible without the creative help and enthusiasm of local students. Tonight you can see some of them in action.
