2026 Artwork Coordinator: Sarah Edmondson, sarahe@justharvest.org

  • BOWLS! Every year we try to acquire upwards of 2,000 bowls for the event. We are also interested in other types of ceramics, both functional and sculptural, to include in the silent auction portion of the event.

  • Anyone! We’ve received bowls and other artwork from individual artists, professional studios, independent collaboratives, high school art classes, kindergartens, college clay clubs, and more.

  • We heavily encourage studio groups, schools, and clubs to organize a bowl-making event with their participants. Pittsburgh Center of Arts & Media has done these types of events and thrown over 300 bowls in a single day! Please contact the event coordinator if you’d like to do this and we can cover catering arrangements for your event!

  • Bowls should be of an average-ish dinnerware size and do not need to be food safe, as participants will be taking the bowls home with them and not eating out of them at the event. Shape, color, and design are all up to the artist.

For the silent auction, we try to keep individual item values below $3,000 to maximize selling potential with our audience.

    • Visibility - Your name will be posted as a featured artist at the event

    • Community - Giving back to your community is personally satisfying on it’s own, but you’ll also be able make connections with other artists at the event

    • Silent Auction Profit Share - As a way to give back to our artists who donate their fine art to the silent auction, we provide an (optional) 50/50 profit share on the final sale value of your items
