Right now, we must urgently tell House Members to vote “NO.” The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 fails to reverse the deeply damaging $187 billion in SNAP cuts from H.R.1, as well as other harmful changes that will further weaken the program.

According to the National WIC Association, WIC has “improved breastfeeding, nutrition, and health outcomes for women, infants, and young children” for more than 50 years. In Allegheny County alone, the program currently serves nearly 11,000 people (PA WIC).
Take Action: House Passed Farm Bill - Senate Vote Ahead
The House recently passed the Farm Bill with a vote of 224-200. The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 fails to reverse the deeply damaging $187 billion in SNAP cuts from H.R.1, as well as other harmful changes that will further weaken the program. The Senate must now reject the House version of the Farm bill and prioritize legislation that protects families struggling to keep food on the table.
