Protect & Strengthen WIC

Join Just Harvest in supporting WIC with these two actions below. According to the National WIC Association, WIC has “improved breastfeeding, nutrition, and health outcomes for women, infants, and young children” for more than 50 years. In Allegheny County alone, the program currently serves nearly 11,000 people (PA WIC).

1. Take action to protect WIC and increase access by emailing members of Congress.

Use the tool below from the National WIC Association to advocate for fully funding WIC and permanently modernizing the program with virtual options.

2. Share your comments about how WIC can be improved.
